May 20 • Santa Cruz

REGISTER

Strawberry Fields Forever is a(n) …

  • Organized bike ride
  • Tour of some of the most beautiful regions of Santa Cruz County
  • International culinary experience
  • Fully supported event

Each route includes rest stops with international themes, food and beverages every 20-30 miles. Lunch is served on the 65 and 100 mile rides. Sag support is provided for equipment and physical breakdowns. Riders will enjoy a hot meal at the end of the ride. Fresh whipped cream and strawberries dipped in chocolate ganache conclude the menu.

The entire route is paved and routes include: 30 mile – 30.4 miles with 871 feet of climbing; 100 km – 61 miles with 2,938 feet of climbing; 100 mile – 100.7 miles with 5,783 feet of climbing.  Santa Cruz is a coastal community and spring weather can play havoc with road conditions. Bike mechanics will be available at the start/finish and at each rest stop for minor repairs and adjustments. Mechanics will not be prepared to make major repairs. Check your equipment before you come to the ride. Make your ride safer and more enjoyable by bringing a well-maintained and well-tuned bike.

Children are welcome; under 13 accompanied by a parent ride at no charge. Children must register.

About 150 volunteers provide all services for the ride, including food, routes, safety, SAG and mechanical support. Sign up here.

Join us for a fun day on one of the most beautiful rides in Northern California. Bring a friend! Register before March 19 and save $10.00 of the regular $75.00 entry fee. Register here.
