Lake Tahoe Triathlon
The Lake Tahoe Triathlon is a favorite of many triathletes, because the venue. The setting and course offer a truly beautiful and challenging experience. Join us annually the fourth weekend in August in beautiful Lake Tahoe, California for a great race and a time of your life!
The event occurs annually at Ed’ZBerg Sugar Pine State Park on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Sugar Pine is truly one of Tahoe’s special lake side properties. Home of the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion, this property features tall pines, a historic pier, beautiful grounds and spectacular beaches, therefore making this a great destination event for the whole family.
Sugar Pine State Park is one of the state parks systems most coveted camping destinations. The camp sites are very near the main venue. This is a great way to attend and participate in the Lake Tahoe Triathlon. Make sure to reserve a camping spot early, because they do fill up.
You have the option of reserving a campsite through the Reserve California system. Because of the popularity of the event, be sure to book 6 months, to the day, in advance!
The Lake Tahoe Triathlon is owned and operated by Big Blue Adventure, LLC. Big Blue Adventure produces many EPIC events in and around Tahoe, including the Donner Lake Triathlon, XTERRA Tahoe City and XTERRA Lake Tahoe, Great Trail Race, Truckee Marathon, and others.
