Northstar California Resort

If you are looking to race EWS Northstar — or the CES round at Northstar — for 2019, registration will be through EWS.

Registration/Entry for EWS races has changed for 2019.

In prior years EWS had the main race and the Challenger race (a shorter course of the main event). Entry for the EWS main race was first based on Reserved Entry List (points based) and then second based on a lottery, while the Challenger race entry was based on first-come basis.

For 2019, entry to the EWS main race is only open to racers on the Reserved Entry List and EWS Teams. Replacing the Lottery entry and the Challenger race are the EWS 100 (full EWS course) and EWS 80 (80% of the EWS course). Entry for the EWS 100 and EWS 80 are based on a first-come basis — no lottery, no reserve list. More info is available on the EWS website.

Registration for the EWS main race is open to the Reserved Entry List December 10-11, 2018. Eligible riders will be contacted directly by EWS with the details and entry instructions.

Registration for the EWS 100 and EWS 80 opens December 14, 2018 for all North American rounds of the EWS, including Northstar.

To prepare for registration, you will to sign up with EWS and setup your rider profile through the EWS Portal.

The link for registration will be posted on the EWS Event Entry page on December 14 12:00 noon PST. It is first-come registration. There are no reserved spots for CES, so don’t delay! Register at noon on December 14.
