The Santa Cruz Westside Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K is a must-attend event for running enthusiasts, offering an unforgettable experience along California’s stunning coast.
Starting near the iconic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, participants run along West Cliff Drive, enjoying breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the historic Santa Cruz Lighthouse. The course reaches its scenic highlight at the bluffs of Wilder Ranch State Park before finishing on Cowell’s Beach.
Race day is Saturday, October 12, 2024, with the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K all starting at 8:00 AM. Each race offers a unique blend of scenic beauty and athletic challenge, making this event a perfect way to experience the natural charm of Santa Cruz.
Participants will receive a custom finisher’s medal, commemorative event shirt, and post-race refreshments. Aid stations will be located every two miles, and restrooms will be available throughout the course.
