In California’s diverse landscapes, close encounters between humans and wildlife are becoming increasingly common. Should wildlife officials relocate animals ? 

The viral interactions between Otter 841 and surfers in Santa Cruz has put a spotlight on this increasingly contentious issue. But as apex predators like bears, mountain lions, and sharks increasingly encounter humans in parts of California, what is the future of this problem?
