Alta Alpina Challenge

The Alta Alpina 8 Pass Challenge is a fully supported, cyclist-run mountain ride showcasing classic Sierra roadways and big, high-country views near Lake Tahoe. Riders tackle a legendary lineup of passes on low-traffic roads, earning the right to wear an exclusive 8 Pass Finisher Jersey if they complete the full challenge. Along the way, participants can count on stocked rest stops with food and drinks, plus a post-ride meal at the finish. It’s a standout day for experienced road cyclists looking for an epic endurance challenge in stunning, remote terrain.
