Stand up paddleboarders, prone paddlers and OC1 watercraft alike are welcome to take part in this festive weekend of racing taking place October 17-18, 2015. Races include short courses, distance, a kids’ course and relays, and the routes take paddlers around Alcatraz, down the shores of the Presidio National Park and around the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge. On shore, paddling enthusiasts can check out the latest paddling gear, meet the pros, learn about sports nutrition and even take a yoga class at the event’s expo. Now in its fifth year, the 2015 Battle of the Bay will cap off the World Paddle Association’s race season. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate paddling in one of the world’s most iconic bodies of water!
