TRAIL ADVOCACY AND STEWARDSHIP ORGANIZATION Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC) recently launched a brand new program called Trail Academy. Trail Academy is a free educational program to build trail stewardship skills within the trail user community and grow the size and skill level of volunteers.

A range of courses will be offered to meet the needs of first-timers as well as trail building veterans. Classes offered cover all aspects of trail-building, from the natural history of trails and volunteer management, to rock armoring and advanced dirt shaping.

Classes are offered in Santa Cruz and the South Bay. Learn more and sign up at mbosc.org/trailacademy.
