Bringing Adventure Vehicles, Vanlife, Food, Fun and Music to the Public FOR FREE

Are you in the market for adventure gear, a custom van or camper, an off road tent trailer or roof top tent?  Meet Neil Morse who is bringing the adventure van and overland lifestyle to folks who are interested in learning more about this booming market. The Adventure Van Expo is free to the public and offers a great opportunity to meet experts in a fun, family friendly environment.

Where did you get the idea for the Adventure Van Expo?

I bought my first van and used to promote music shows back in the day, and I basically merged the two.

This is the fourth annual expo. Can you tell us a little bit about the evolution of your expo? How has it changed? How has it grown?

We are doubling in size year over year, people are into vans and catching on in droves. We started to add non van companies like Specialized Bike, we’re super stoked to have them with us. We’re adding more music, food trucks and festivies.

There has been a lot of growth in both van living and overlanding. What do you think are the reasons for this growth? Do you see it stopping any time soon?

Covid for sure helped with the growth. The pandemic has:
  1. Allowed people to work remotely
  2. Vans are a safe traveling environment, eliminating the risk associated with hotel lobbies and restaurants.

You are half way through this year’s tour. Are there any highlights so far?

I love the vibe from Storyteller RV as always, they bring a ton of energy to the show. We’re pretty stoked to have Airstream with us now at all shows.

What can people expect when they attend the Adventure Van Expo?

A fun community vibe, a little music a little beer and a lot of vans to check out, there’s tons of innovation going on. Many new companies doing very specialized things like showers and beds.

Any advice for folks who are considering buying their first vehicle to customize?

I think by coming to the show and checking things out they will come away with ideas and concepts they would never have before thought of.
