Ski, snowboard and cross country programs offered to youth this winter

AuburnSkiClub

Auburn Ski Club (ASC) is currently accepting enrollment for the upcoming winter sports season. The club offers programs that start as young as age 4 in the Super Sliders cross country program and age 6 in the Cisco Kids downhill skiing programs.ย Junior teams and season long programs are also offered in snowboarding, biathlon and alpine gate training for serious racers under the lights in the ASC race arena. For intermediate skiers ages 10-15, there is the All Mt. Devo team that explores the mountain, terrain parks and builds skiing skills. Cross country skiers ages 9-18 join the Sonics team or the Devo/Comp team for fitness and training for competitions.

The goal of all training centerย programs is to develop a life-long love of winter sports for the whole family. This season ASC athletes of all ages will be seen competing in local, national and international winter sports competitions. The ASC Training Center and programs are open to everyone. Throughout the season clinics and activities provided for the whole family are based at the club’s training center facility on Donner Summit at Boreal Mt. Resort.

ASC grooms 20 kilometers of cross country ski trails daily at the training center. These trails are open to members and the public Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30am to 4:40pm.
