Affordable Lift Tickets

Skiers and riders can enjoy significant savings on lift tickets, rental equipment and lessons at Diamond Peak compared to other Tahoe ski resorts. It’s the only Lake Tahoe resort to offer free lift tickets every day for children ages six and under, and everyone can save $10 off window rates by purchasing tickets online.

Looking for bigger savings and more flexibility? Diamond Peak offers Flex Pass multi-day available in two- or three-day increments—can be used any day of the ski season with no blackouts.

All-Day Powder Stashes

Diamond Peak offers 13 named “glade zones” scattered around the mountain (find them on the trail map here) which are the place to be on storm days. This advanced terrain is a playground for experts filled with natural obstacles like pillows, rock drops, deep snow and more.

but the reward is worth it: unforgettable sunrise or sunset viewsOf the resort’s 655 skiable acres (with 1,840 feet of vertical), nearly 500 acres are off-piste tree runs. Get a preview on Diamond Peak’s Steeps & Stashes page of the website.

Uphill Access

Diamond Peak is one of the few resorts in the Tahoe area that allows uphill access, but only during specific non-operating hours. Participants must purchase an Uphill Access pass from the Guest Services office and must follow all of the uphill access rules and restrictions, but the reward is worth it: views of Lake Tahoe on the way up and down.

Special $60 Deals on Lift Tickets, Rentals & Lessons

During the 2025-26 ski season, the resort is celebrating their 60th anniversary with a series of special throwback pricing on select dates.

$60 lift tickets, $60 ski/snowboard rental packages, and $60 beginner ski/snowboard lesson packages on the following dates: Jan. 14 & 29, Feb. 9, March 17 & 27, April 19 (conditions permitting).

Find full details about these deals and other 60th anniversary events online here.

Interchangeable Parent Tickets

Parents who both ski (or snowboard) and have kiddos too young to join them on the slopes will be interested in the Parent Interchangeable Lift Ticket, offered exclusively at Diamond Peak. It’s the same price as a standard adult lift ticket, but offers the flexibility of trading off babysitting duty in the Lodge while the other parent takes a few runs on the slopes.

If those aren’t enough reasons to give Diamond Peak a try this winter, there’s also the fact that the resort is community-owned, meaning your dollars aren’t going to some out-of-state corporation but will stay local and help improve recreational opportunities for all in the North Lake Tahoe region.

So if you’re looking to adventure past the big-name resorts in the Tahoe area this winter, put Diamond Peak on your bucket list.
