Dear Readers,

As we step into 2025, we want to thank you — our incredible community of outdoor enthusiasts — for being part of the Adventure Sports Journal community. Your passion for exploration and love for the wild places that inspire us have been the heart of this publication for years.

We also want to express our gratitude to those who have already participated in our reader survey — your feedback is shaping ASJ’s future. Haven’t shared your input yet? There’s still time to participate and enter to win from over $3,000 in adventure prizes!

We’re also excited to announce a shift to a quarterly print schedule this year, with four issues annually. This decision allows us to focus on quality over quantity, delivering richer stories and deeper reflections on the adventure lifestyle we all love. While we’re working hard to upgrade our website and expand our digital presence, our print publication will always remain our core focus.

As winter blankets the mountains of California, we’re reminded that the adventure lifestyle is about more than physical challenges — it’s about embracing the lessons each season brings. True adventure readiness is about staying present, trusting the flow of nature, and finding personal growth through the experience.

Thank you for being part of our readership. Your support fuels our mission to celebrate the outdoor lifestyle and inspire deeper connections to the natural world. May 2025 bring you wonder, joy, and unforgettable adventures.

With gratitude,

Cathy and Matt
