Mountain Bike Mania is the only TV show in the United States that covers professional downhill mountain bike races. The two-year-old program airs on broadcast TV and on the web. In 2015, MTB Mania — the show and various clips — got approximately 2.9 million views across all platforms, and covered the Pro GRT series, USA Cycling’s National DH MTB Championship, and the Northwest Cup.

The program airs on local affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox from coast to coast. California downhill mountain bike racing enthusiasts can tune in to KDOC/LA56 in Los Angeles, KFMB/CBS in San Diego, KEYT/ABC in Santa Barbara, and KIEM/NBC in Eureka. The episodes run 28.5 minutes and do not break for commercials.

The show features a trio of USC grads — Samantha McDonald, Host; Ross McDonald, Co-host and Editor; Christine Detz, Producer — and Commentator Mikey Haderer, a long-time mountain bike personality.

The final episode of the 2015 season will air Saturday, October 31 on KDOC/LA56 at 6:00 am, and covers the final Pro GRT race that was held at Mammoth Mountain on September 26. This episode will also air on the web (mtbmania.com and Pinkbike) by Sunday November 1, 9am.

ASJ is proud to serve as one of MTB Mania’s media sponsors. The show is also sponsored by Mountain Bike Action, ClippedIn, BikeRoar, KHS Bicycles, Jenson USA, Angel Fire Bike Park, ODI Grips, and Southridge USA.
