Grinduro

Grinduro is back in 2024 and beautiful Mt. Shasta once again hosts this awesome party!

In short, Grinduro is just what the name suggests: gravel road race + mountain bike-style enduro = one long loop of pavement and dirt, where finishing times arenโ€™t based on overall loop time, but four timed segments (each roughly five-to-ten minutes).

But Grinduro is not just a bike race. Itโ€™s a weekend long celebration of gravel cycling with as much emphasis on the fun as the ride, with excellent food, an impressive display of art, an incredible bike expo, live music, camping, and a festival atmosphere.

Registration for Grinduro California opens December 1st 2023.

A LOVE OF MAXINโ€™ & RELAXINโ€™ UNITES RIDERS AROUND THE GLOBE

Since its inception,ย GRINDURO!ย has become the rallying cry for a movement that is captivating cyclists of all types (road racers, urban fixed gear riders, mountain bike riders) across the world.

While people have been riding drop bar cyclocross-style bikes on singletrack trails for decades, Grinduroโ€™s magic formula of Maxinโ€™ & Relaxinโ€™ โ€“ with four short, timed stages over an all-day adventure route, mixed with a festival atmosphere, camping and an epic party โ€“ makes for an unforgettable experience.

This video documents a handful of pro riders (Meredith Miller, Tydeman Newman, Carl Decker and Barry Wicks) as they follow the global Grinduro circuit from Scotland to Canada to wales to Japan. While each location boasts a special set of charms, the people that they meet all the way make the journey worthwhile.
