I picked up the journal at my athletic club today for the first time. It looked interesting. I was absolutely appalled at the question about the tag line. Why on earth would a journal dedicated to adventure sports even consider “Earn Your Beer”? After I read the comments of others and before I looked at your Editor’s Note, I looked through the journal to see the tag line. I didn’t find it. Then I saw that you had replaced it. If you hadn’t, I would have never looked at another copy. We don’t need another “sports” magazine encouraging one of the most destructive vices in our lives. We get enough of the rewards of “beer.” Everyday another life gets ended by a drunk driver who only had a beer or two after a hard day.
