A sell-out event, the Ashland Mountain Challenge boasted an amazing vibe with hundreds of enthusiastic riders ready to shred.
Beautiful temps and perfect trail conditions greeted racers at the fifth round of the California Enduro Series – the Hope Technology Ltd Ashland Mountain Challenge put on by the dedicated crew with Ashland Mountain Adventures. Just over the California border in Oregon, Ashland provided pine trails for miles and solid elevation gain/descend for four stages of amazing enduro action.
The Rabobank KOM / QOM was on the longest stage of the day – stage 3 – and paid both the fastest man and fastest woman in each category $100 for their quickest efforts.
