Bike Week Santa Cruz finale boasts something for everyone

Bicycle Trip

Once a year Bicycle Trip hosts all cyclists for a bash at the shop on Soquel Avenue in Santa Cruz. The party is the finale for Bike Week Santa Cruz. It’s a time when young and old, roadies and mountain bikers, recreational riders and racer-types come together to celebrate riding and having fun on two wheels in Santa Cruz. Indulge in good eats, get your mind blown by multiple bike stunt shows, demo your dream eBike, road bike or MTB, browse the neat cycles and bits in the vendor village, partake in numerous kids activities and reap the rich bounty of the event’s famous free raffle and prize wheel!

This year, the Bike Fest is held on Saturday May 12 from 11am-3pm and the event boasts a demo bike extravaganza, with factory fleets from Norco, Giant, Gazelle and Faraday.ย And as if that’s not enough, all bikes, parts, clothing and accessories will be marked down an additional 20%. This includes current sale items, layaways and special orders (one year interest-free financing is available).

Independent and locally owned, the Bicycle Trip has enjoyed providing qualityย bicycle sales,ย repair, service and optimization,ย personalized bike fittings, and nowย bike rentalsย in Santa Cruz County for 42 years.

Our commitment to cycling and to the Santa Cruz community spans decades and includesย Project Bike Trip, an innovative non-profit whose programs offer technical training in bicycle mechanics, preparing youth for job opportunities within the bicycle industry. We believe in cultivating community, promoting cycling as a solution to societal challenges like childhood obesity and global warming, and providing friendly and professional service for all.

The entire staff at Bicycle Trip staff is totally nuts about bikes. Our experience, knowledge and interest ranges from elite downhill, professional road racing, commuter extraordinaire, and casual cruiser. We are a professional and family orientedย Santa Cruz bike shopย and would love to help you find the perfect bike that matches your interest, experience, lifestyle and budget.
