California Enduro Series is thrilled to announce that a whopping $28,615 was raised in this seasonโ€™s fundraising raffles.

Fire Chief Michael Gemelos, aka CESโ€™ very own #EnduroBaby, proudly pulled the winning raffle tickets on the morning of November 1, 2020.

James Reyes was the lucky winner of a Specialized Enduro Expert mountain bike while Didier Serra won a Specialized Turbo Levo SL Comp Carbon electric mountain bike. Both winners get to choose the frame size and color.

In addition, the 6th and final FOX fork of the season went to Chris Jensen, who gets to choose between a 36 or 38. Jerry Devon won the 6th and final FOX Transfer seat post.

Massive thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets, and to Specialized Bicycles and FOX for donating these amazing prizes.

Of the $28,615 raised, $5,750 benefits Rogue Valley Mountain Bike Association (RVMBA), another $5,750 goes to Siskiyou Outdoor Recreation Alliance (SORA), and the remaining $17,115 supports fire relief efforts in mountain biking communities impacted by this yearโ€™s wildfires.

CES director Steve Gemelos says, โ€œThe heart of California Enduro Series is community. We hold these fundraisers to give back to the mountain biking communities that give so much to our series and our racers.”

Gemelos adds, “This year, naturally, has presented challenges that we could never have imagined before, including the COVID pandemic and devastating wildfires. We are CES are glad for the chance to help ease the strain, and we appreciate everyone who came together in support of our race communities.โ€
