Battle Born Enduro gears up for 2014 kick off
Registration open for #2 VP EnduroFest and #4 Kamikaze Bike Games Enduro!

The California Enduro Series (CES) 2014 season kicks off June 7 with round #1 Battle Born Enduro, presented by the Silver Legacy Resort Casino — entries are nearly sold out!

Venue:  
The Poedunks, a non-profit trail stewardship organization, have been working hard to ready new trails on Peavine Mountain for this event benefiting the local trail network. The event will be staged out of the Chinese Pagoda picnic area at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, which offers restrooms, picnic tables and shade. Food and beverages will be provided at the finish, and are included in the registration fee. Neutral mechanic services will be available on site by Jenson USA. No camping is allowed in the park. The Silver Legacy Resort Casino is the official host hotel and is located approximately one mile from the event.

Course:
Pro and Expert categories will take on a 25.5 mile course that includes five stages and 4500′ of climbing. All other categories will race the same course with the exception of the fifth stage, for a total of 22.5 miles and 3800′ of climbing. The course map will be released closer to the event. Water and sunscreen will be available at the start and finish of most timed stages; snacks will be provided at some spots.
  
Prizes:
At least $4000 in cash and prizes will be distributed to category winners, with a pro purse for the top five fastest Pro/Expert times for both Men and Women. Awards go three deep in all other categories.

Registration:
$65 online registration until Wednesday June 4 at 5pm PDT. Registration will be available at the Silver Legacy on Friday June 6 from 5pm-8pm for $75. There is no race-day registration. Bib number pick-up for pre-registered riders will be available at the staging area from 6:30am-8am, with a mandatory riders meeting at 7:45am at the start. Riders will between 8am-8:30am depending on category. Helmets are required at all times while riding.
