Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC) is partnering with FOX and Santa Cruz Bicycles to present the fourth annual Santa Cruz Old Cabin Classic on May 4th in Wilder Ranch State Park. This cross country race is a throwback to the early days of mountain bike racing and is a celebration of the sport.

The race is sold out, but the expo is free and open to the public! With live music, a vintage bike museum, delicious food, tasty drinks, a Kids Bike Rodeo, and a FREE Kids Race, Old Cabin Classic is fun for the whole family.

To get you caffeinated in the morning, Verve will be serving free coffee when you have a reusable cup. Once you build up an appetite, there will be three great food vendors to satisfy the hunger, including Tacos El Chuy, Kickin’ Chicken, and Pat’s Pit BBQ. Feeling thirsty? Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery will be serving up delicious beers, and Venus Spirits will be pouring craft cocktails. All that while enjoying live music by Jesse Daniel with a great community!

Please bring your own cup, and don’t forget your ID.

The event is a homage to this iconic venue and a testament to the partnership between California State Parks and the mountain bike community who are working together to make our local trails the best they can be. The race is being held as a benefit for mountain biking in Santa Cruz County, a significant portion of the proceeds will go directly into a fund earmarked for trail development at Wilder Ranch.
