The 2015 Sacramento Cyclocross Series begins Sunday, September 27, 2015 and will again be an eight race series, culminating with their first ever night race at Sacramento Raceway (the drag strip). Races #4 and #5 take place on Halloween weekend – the two day Folsom CX GP with cash payouts for Elite riders and other special prizes. New this year is the Yolo Brewing Company beer garden at seven races with half of the proceeds benefiting the Bikes 4 Kids charity. The only race without the beer garden runs at LangeTwins winery with complimentary wine tasting all day. All eight races will include a local food truck.

The race day schedule includes categories from beginners to professional for both men and women. To emphasize how fun and accessible the sport of cyclocross is, the series has added a “Lycra-free Lap” right after its free kids race to encourage first timers to get out there and experience a lap of the course. This lap also includes a quick coaching session from Bell Coaching Services before the lap and a voucher for a free beer afterwards, so participants can stick around and watch the Elite racers from the beer garden.
