Basic ski packages offer the choice between traditional classic (striding) or skate skis, boots and poles. For those seeking a faster snow adventure, an extensive lineup of high-performance demo equipment is also available. Rental equipment starts at just $38 for the day.

For those who want winter fun without the gliding, snowshoe packages include snowshoes and adjustable poles!

Snow-making at TDXC

In 2022, the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center became the first resort in the Tahoe region to install a snow-making system dedicated to cross country trails, taking a cutting-edge step toward offering an earlier opening date and a more reliable season at the world-class facility. While most of the trails receive adequate snowfall every year, snow-making efforts focus on areas where holding snow can be difficult, thereby improving access and helping maintain a more contiguous trail system for the duration of the winter season. Not only does snow-making at TDXC provide an enhanced overall experience, but it once again puts TDXC as a leader in the industry.

XC Excellence for Everyone

With rolling mountain vistas and breathtaking valley floors, there is something for everyone at the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center. Trail passes are required to access the trails and start at just $49. Book your adventure now!
