Furthermore, this hooded version of OR’s Helium Down Collection boasts the exclusive waterproof Pertex Shield Diamond Fuse fabric on its hood, shoulders, and upper sleeves for additional weather protection. This unique fabric is designed with diamond-shaped filaments that lock together, offering five times the tear strength of the current fabric used in OR’s Helium shell. 
The rest of the jacket is made from Pertex Diamond Fuse Ripstop, a breathable fabric that is twice as abrasion-resistant than the face fabric used in most down jackets. The interior is filled with premium RDS (Responsible Down Standard) 800+ fill goose down.
