FAIRFAX, CA – With twenty breweries tapping 35 different beers, exceptional live music, cargo bike racing and over 70 exhibitors, the annual Biketoberfest Marin will attract cyclists and West Coast brewers alike in a combined bicycle expo and brewfest on Saturday, October 10, 2015.
As Marin County’s premier social bicycle event, Biketoberfest Marin raises funds for the Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC) and Access4Bikes (A4B). Held in Fairfax—the birthplace of mountain biking—this family-friendly one day event draws over 5,000 brew and bicycle enthusiasts from throughout Northern California. This fall festival has raised significant funds for MCBC and A4B in their work to continue improving on and off-road bicycling conditions and access in Marin county.
Biketoberfest takes place at Fair-Anselm Plaza in downtown Fairfax, one of the Bay Area’s most popular bicycling destinations and home of the newly-opened Marin Museum of Bicycling. Biketoberfest Marin occurs Saturday, October 17 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and will feature group road and mountain bike rides onto the the trails and loops, live music, great food, family activities, a Cargo Bike Jubilee, dozens of bicycle, component, nutrition and athletic attire exhibitors, and 20 West Coast brewers serving over 35 beers. It’s a great way to have fun while helping a good cause.
