The Wildflower Triathlon Experience — returns for 2018 to celebrate its 35th anniversary in Central California May 4-6 at Lake San Antonio in Bradley, CA.
Wildflower is known all over the world for its festival like atmosphere, challenging courses and some of the most energetic collegiate volunteers. It has been named “The Woodstock for Triathlon,” “The Best of the Best,” “Triathlon Back to the Basic Roots,” “Elites Favorite Race,” and more. It’s the “One and Only” Wildflower as there is nothing else like it in the world.
Wildflower has partnered with Motiv Sports to ensure this beloved weekend event flourishes for 2018 and into the future. Led by Race Directors Terry Davis and Colleen Bousman, the team will be keeping the iconic festival atmosphere alive, and additional events, entertainment and activities will be incorporated into the weekend to expand the “Wildflower Experience.” In addition, the full triathlon race line up is back including the Long-Course, Olympic, Sprint and Mountain Bike.

Since creativity is good for the soul, tap into your artsy side at the Art Bar where you can paint while enjoying a glass of bubbly or your favorite Central Coast wine. Or center your chi while taking one of our yoga classes throughout the weekend. Keep Calm & Stretch On throughout your Wildflower weekend. Turn stress into strength, loosen your tight muscles and center yourself.
Stroll through the Wildflower Marketplace and shop for handcrafted triathlon goods by local artisans. Or, test out the latest and greatest in training gear at one of the numerous expo booths!
Do you like heights? Take an aerial adventure on a Helicopter Tour and take in a spectacular birds-eye view of the rolling hills, vineyards and iconic Wildflower venue where over 100,000 triathletes have suited up for race day.
Explore the 350 square miles of Lake San Antonio by paddleboard or kayak. Rentals are available all weekend for the Wildflower watermen.
We said Wildflower is fun for all ages and we meant it! “Camp Wildflower” is a cool kid-zone complete with playground, art & crafts and interactive games! Where a kid can be a kid!
