Columbia Sportswear Celebrates Grand Opening of First Ever Monterey Store Location at the Del Monte Shopping Center

Columbia Sportswear (NASDAQ: COLM), global outdoor leader known for its high-tech outdoor apparel and footwear, will be joining the Monterey community with the opening of its first brand store in the area at Del Monte Shopping Center. To celebrate the opening, Columbia will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 26, and will offer Grand Opening deals on apparel, footwear and accessories through September 14.

The timing of our grand opening at Del Monte Shopping Center is perfect to shop our newest fall collections and grab some deals on our remaining summer styles. The Grand Opening celebration will include 25% off almost everything in store from August 26 through September 14, plus an additional up to 50% off end of season styles and 4X rewards on all purchases for new and existing Columbia Greater Rewards members.

Also, during grand opening weekend only from August 26 – August 28, Columbia will be giving away free $10 gift cards to Alvarado Street Brewery, a locally owned and operated brewery and restaurant, to the first 100 customers each day, while supplies last.

Columbia will be helping to raise funds for  Open OutDoors for Kids and the National Park Foundation; through September 30, shoppers at all US Columbia Sportswear Brand and Factory stores will have the opportunity to round their purchase up to the next dollar or donate at check-out. Open OutDoors for Kids creates pathways for kids to enjoy, understand and connect with nature in exciting ways by facilitating outdoor activity, experiential learning, and cultural heritage exercises.
