All Out Events returns with the 7th annual Morro Bay Triathlon which offers both Olympic and Sprint distances. Racers will navigate a protected harbor with traditional swimming or an optional paddle, bike iconic Highway 1, and run beach and board walk to an epic photo finish under the Gibraltar of the Pacific: Morro Rock.

As with the All Out Events Dawn to Dusk Adventure Race (see above), event proceeds from the Morro Bay Triathlon support local search and rescue as well as Water Run, an international charity bringing fresh water to places in need.

Substitute the swim portion with kayak or stand up paddle boarding

If you donโ€™t swim or youโ€™re a kayaking/stand up paddle board fiend you can substitute the swim portion of the triathlon with a paddle. The course tours Morro Bay in clockwise direction, course and turns are clearly marked with buoys. The paddle starts and ends at Mothers Beach.

Ocean sit-on-tops, touring kayaks, surf skis, and stand up paddle boards are all welcome.

The paddle option will be divided between Kayaks and SUP

  • The Olympicย course is 3 miles
The Sprintย course is 1.6 miles

You will be in a separate category from the other triathletes if you choose the paddle option.
