Ryders Eyewear “Van to Vegas” Road Trip is coming through Santa Cruz tonight. Ryders Eyewear is on their way south from Vancouver to Interbike, North America’s largest bicycle trade show.

Adventure Sports Journal will be hosting them during their stay in Santa Cruz. They will be staying at the new Hotel Paradox for their first night. We will be doing some SUPing with Kayak Connection so we can Earn our Beer before heading to Seabright Brewery. Tomorrow we will be hitting beautiful Santa Cruz single track for an epic ride and ending the day with a skate jam and pizza party in front of the Santa Cruz Boardroom and Pleasure Pizza. Come by on Friday night starting at 6PM. Pleasure Pizza will be making up some special pizza with Canadian Bacon. There will be live music, schwag, discounted pitchers and good times.

If you see the van, give them a honk or flag them down and maybe get some schwagg. Hope to see you at what we have dubbed “Canda Day” on Friday night in front of the Board Room and Pleasure Pizza. Questions: email matt@adventuresportsjournal.com

Ryders Eyewear Unleashes Inaugural โ€œVan to Vegasโ€ Road Trip

NORTH VANCOUVER, Canada (September 12, 2012) โ€“ Ryders Eyewear, the premier
manufacturer of high-performance and affordable eyewear, this week embarked on their
first annual โ€œVan to Vegasโ€ Road Trip.

Outfitted in a 1967 VW Microbus, the โ€œVan to Vegasโ€ Road Trip takes the brand back to
its grassroots origins– when carefree fun and boundless energy drove the dynamic
product line to where it stands today. The eight day epic will follow a loose itinerary to
seven towns and cities, contingent on the spontaneous missions and crazy shenanigans
popping up along the way. Stops include:

Seattle, WA
Portland, OR
Hood River, OR
Bend, OR
San Francisco, CA
Santa Cruz, CA
Bakersfield, CA
Interbike: Las Vegas!

This trip is entirely spread-sheet free. The three Ryders will be up for anything: beer
pong, rope-swings, freeriding, skateboarding and cotton candy. If you see them on their
trip, shake them down for some shwag, so long as youโ€™re willing to push the Microbus for
a timely compression start.
