Fundraising event promotes the participation of women in the sport of surfing
Come on out to the Capitola Jetty in Capitola on Saturday, October 17, 2015 to celebrate the Women On Waves (WOW) Surf Fest. WOW is well known throughout Santa Cruz County as a great local fundraising event that promotes women’s participation, of all ages, in the sport of surfing. It is an amateur event that showcases the talent and athleticism of local women.
Women on Waves participants come from all walks of life and all ages. Their enthusiasm for the sport of surfing is truly uplifting and a testament to the strength of our community.
